MCA CLUB INAUGURATION REPORT
EVENT : MCA CLUB INAUGURATION CEREMONY

SPECIAL ADDRESS: Mr. M. SOMASUNDAR, Vice – President, Pyroferus Technologies.
Introduction:
To motivate, share the knowledge, information about IT and other opportunities to the students, Department of MCA formed Humanoid Intelligence Club with a tag line “A Club with Sense and Sensibility” and was inaugurated on 15th September 2023.
Inauguration Ceremony started with Multimedia presentation by MCA students and dignitaries settled down at the stage followed by Thamizh Thai Vazhthu.
Club Motto:
- To conduct seminars, webinars, workshops, hands on trainings and conferences.
- To share the information about the opportunities in the IT field.
- To develop the skills apart from academics.
- To know about various competitive exams and abroad studies.
- To motivate students to participate Internal and External activities
Welcome Speech:
Dr. E. Pandian, Professor & Head, Department of MCA welcomed all for the club inauguration ceremony. Our Principal Sir felicitated the program and wished the club for its future activities and Vice Principal Mam congratulated and motivated the Faculty and the students of MCA department for the club.
Keynote Speech:
Our Chief Guest Mr. C. Karthikeyan, Co founder of BU Soft Tech, delivered the keynote speech. He shared his experience as a president of club during his college period. He continued how the club helps to form the software company which he runs successfully today. When he was president he was able to learn and develop the following skills:
- Leadership Qualities
- Stage Management
- Stage Etiquette
- Hospitality
- Presence of Mind
Special Address:
Our Chief Guest Mr. M. Somasundar, Vice – President of Pyroferus Technologies, delivered the special address. He specially praised Club members for the name “Humanoid Intelligence Club” and wished them for a grand success.
He said a Club activity plays a vital role in the IT industry. The skills which we won’t experience in the academic will be got in the club. He added that the steps involved in SDLC will provided by a department club (Analyzing, Designing, Coding, Testing and Implementation).
- Students interested in the designing can improve their skills in Photoshop and corel draw by preparing banners, flyers and Invitation to the club functions.
- Students with programming skills can conduct technical symposium.
- Students can organize the function by preparing the budget and they can have experience about coordination among the people.
Vote of Thanks:
Dr. L. Josephine Mary, Professor, Department of MCA, thanked The Management, Principal, Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, Chief Guests, Heads of all department, Faculty Members, Non teaching staffs and students those who are directly and indirectly supported to the function.
