Appointment and Service Rules

Recruitment of teaching, non-teaching and administrative staff is planned at the end of every academic year as per the requirements of the next academic year. The Head of the department assesses the need for additional faculty based on workload calculation and specialization requirement. With respect to the requirement, the Principal and Vice principal will discuss with HoDs. Based on the discussion, the advertisement for the faculty and other staff members recruitment will be published in the public social medias with vacancies and the required basic qualification details.

Whenever a vacancy arises in the departments, the request is sent to the management after discussions with the Principal and Vice principal. The applications are shortlisted based on the number of vacancies and qualifications; candidates are called for interview. The members in the board include the Management, Subject Experts from other Institute, Principal, Vice principal and Head of the department concerned.

At the end of every academic year, a performance appraisal is conducted for all faculties. The self-appraisal form is filled in by all faculty members, with endorsement by the HoD’s. The faculty is assessed based on        the Anna university results produced in the subjects handled by them, the feedback received from students and their publications.

Total Years of Experience – 8 yrs

Assistant Professor BE/B.Tech. with ME/M.Tech in relevant program
