The Discipline committee in a college plays a vital role in maintaining order and ensuring adherence to institutional rules. Its primary function is to investigate and address instances of misconduct or violations of the college’s code of conduct. The committee reviews complaints related to academic dishonesty, disruptive behavior, or breaches of campus regulations. It ensures a fair process by hearing both the parties before making a decision. Based on the findings, the committee determines the appropriate disciplinary action, such as warnings, fines, suspensions, or expulsion.
