Robotics and Automation is a rapidly growing field that is changing the way we live and work. Robots are now being used in a wide variety of industries, from manufacturing to healthcare to customer service. The Department of Robotics and Automation at SMIT is committed to providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in this emerging field.
Our program is established in the year 2020 & is designed to be interdisciplinary, drawing on the expertise of faculty from across the engineering, computer science, and mathematics departments. This ensures that our students have a well-rounded understanding of the principles and practices of robotics and automation.

In addition to their coursework, our students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through our state-of-the-art robotics lab. They also have the opportunity to participate in research projects with our faculty members.
