Capt. (NCC) R G Thayakaran a distinguished educationist, mentor, and NCC officer, he brings with him decades of rich experience in academic leadership, student discipline, personality development, and career-oriented training. Capt. Thayakaran served with distinction at AP Sainik School, Korukonda (A.P.), as Head Faculty of English and PL. Commander, Senior Division – Army Wing NCC, contributing more than 25 years of dedicated service in shaping students into disciplined and responsible leaders. His commitment to academic excellence and youth development has earned him wide recognition and respect in the education sector.
He further strengthened his professional journey as Dean – Training, Placement & Student Affairs at PITAM for over 15 years, where he played a transformational role in enhancing student employability, industry interaction, and placement outcomes. He also served as Campus Officer at HIMT, contributing to student engagement and campus development initiatives. A proud recipient of several prestigious honours, including the Proficiency Award, Commendation Award by the Eastern Naval Command, Best Teacher’s Award, and Best Associate NCC Officer Award, Capt. Thayakaran exemplifies dedication and professional excellence. With his vast expertise in training, mentoring, leadership building, and campus readiness programmes, we are confident that his guidance will strengthen our institutional vision and empower students to achieve academic excellence and successful careers.
