SC/ST Committee

SC/ST committee is formed and functioning since 2015 Objectives:

To create and maintain safe, healthy and supportive environment for SC / ST students
To address the issues of students, belonging to schedule caste / schedule tribes in the Institute and to prevent atrocities against them.
To raise their level of Comprehension of basic subjects to provide a stronger foundation for further academic work
To strengthen their knowledge, skills & attitudes in such subjects where quantitative & qualitative techniques and laboratory activities are involve, so that the necessary guidance and training provided under the programme may enable the students to come up to the level necessary for pursuing higher studies efficiently to reduce their failure and dropout
To provide career guidance and psychological counseling for capacity building to those who are in need of such counseling.
The Institution is fully committed to the highest standard of excellence and transparency in providing the benefits to the people belonging to SC’s/ST’s.

Responsibilities:

To look into the complaints if any received from the concerned students belonging to SC / ST

Various functionalities

To look for special schemes and facilities for SC/ST and differently disabled
To monitor and endeavor, resolve issues/grievances relating to SC/ST students at institute
To formulate schemes for student development including Conference, Training etc

Students from these communities are not able to attend the competitive examinations well, so in order to prepare well for the competitive exam, institute will give them an opportunity by giving Free coaching for competitive exams and give suggestion to apply for loans for students of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes.
Also our institution would cover coaching for higher studies as well as Central and State government-held exams for various services.
