PO1: Engineering knowledge: apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

About Us

Department of

Computer Science and Engineering

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in the year 1996 with an intake of 60, with an objective of imparting quality education in the Computer Science and Engineering. Owing to the growing trend, the strength has been further increased to 90 and 120 in the year 2000 and 2009 respectively. The UG programme is accredited by NBA in 2004 and Permanent Affiliation granted by Anna University in the year 2010.

The department is also offering M.E Programme in Computer Science and Engineering from the year 2005. Anna University has granted Permanent Affiliation for PG programme in the year 2014.  Teaching is the real strength of the department, supported by well qualified and experienced faculty members. The students are continuously assessed by assessment test and model examinations.
