We offer 11 UG programs viz. B.E.-Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology since 1996 and 5 UG programs viz. Biomedical Engineering, Robotics & Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Pharmaceutical Engineering since 2020. The PG programs offered by us are: M.E. – Applied Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, Embedded System Technologies, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Aided Design, Engineering Design, M.C.A-Master of Computer Applications and M.B.A-Master of Business Administration. 

SMIT has well established placement cell that co-ordinates for the conduct of value added courses, soft skills training and provide aptitude training. This helps the students to get placements in reputed companies. Our major recruiters include Accenture  Infosys, IBM, CTS and few reputed Companies like TATA Communications, SANMAR group, Maruti Suzuki, Core engineering companies like Athena Health , Charge Bee Technologies and Symantec. Faculty and students of SMIT have membership in various Professional societies like CSI, IEEE, ASME, MMA, ISTE etc. which help them to improve their knowledge and skills. Apart from these, each department have their own student’s association which actively organizes paper presentations, mini project competitions, workshops, symposia and co-curricular activities. Our Alumni have made a mark for themselves both nationally and internationally having risen to high levels in the corporate environment. Through our Alumni association, they are actively involved in bringing educational reforms through organising workshops on state- of –the art domain skills, guest lectures and other programmes to keep the students at pace with requirements of the industry.

SMIT is extending magnificent services to the society through YOUTH RED CROSS. Various NSS activities like blood donation camp, first aid programmes, oratorical competition and Pradhamamandhri – Swachh Bharat Clean India programs.
